Womenkind Magazine Cover - Workshop

This was a self-initiated project I designed for WomenKind Magazine. In developing this piece, I did come across some issues with the hand and the tattoos. The Hand was still coming out awkwardly, so I had to go back and resketch a hand, using reference. I was able to then line a much more solid sketch, and it came out great.

I also had some issues with the tattoos; this was because I was figuring out how to draw detailed tattoos with it, keeping within my style and not looking jarring or taking too much focus on the character. I solved this one by colouring the linework a very light colour to allow it to sit in the background/her arm.
